For Cub's today Liam's troop had an Iron Chef competition. Liam chose to make a Christmas Cake. He did it all by himself, with some instruction from me. We video taped the whole thing. I think it turned out nice, and he said all the boys loved it and it even tasted good! Way to go Chef Liam!

Saje's Baby Shower

Crystal had her beautiful baby Saje's shower in Calgary so Mom, Grandma and I took a road trip up for it.

Saje is beautiful and wonderful. Crystal did a great job don't you think. So fun to have a little girl among us!

When we lived in the States we set up for Christmas on Thanksgiving. This year, in Canada, Thanksgiving is in October, setting up for Christmas on Thanksgiving here is, aparently, unforgivable, so I had to wait, but I couldn't wait very long, so I set it up on the 12th. I would have set it up on Hyrum's birthday, I've been told that Rememberance day is the first day you are aloud to do such things, BUT, I was to busy with a birthday party. So here it is now!

And the cats discovered it the very next day! ARGH!

Hyrum Madison turned 1 year old today! On 11/11/11! How cool is that? And did you see what time I posted this at? Yeah, I'm cool like that.

Alternate School

The homeschool program here has a special building class at the beginning of every month for kids age 7 and up. They let Ezra join a year early and they are super happy to have him, he does really well, as does Liam. They both love to go spend a couple hours out of their regular homeschool routine and get their hands dirty!

This month they "built" insects out of old food containers and learned about insects as well as doing their usual building project. Ezra's bug was old popcorn boxes and pudding containers for legs and eyes.

Halloween was amazing. We went out to Leavitt and did my old route. Beth Cahoon made her amazing popcorn balls, which I cannot stop eating. It was good to see everyone and I wish we could have been out there longer. We came into Cardston and did some of our ward boundaries. The boys had a blast and so did Bill and I.

Edmonton

We went up for our monthly Edmonton trip just after Crystal had her darling baby Saje. We left Friday morning and got to their house late Friday night. She is such a darling baby and Crystal just loves her!

We stayed with Neil, Arlene and Mattea and the kids were loud and rambuncsious in their 2 bedroom house, not a lot of sleep was had by all! On Saturday Bill had a confrence and Cheyanne, Mattea, the boys and I all went to the mall. We visited the Marine Life exhibit and watched all the seal shows. Each one was different, and so fun. This pictue is of Ezra and the fat African Toad. He's saying "Fat Frog".

This is Obi and some random little girl. They are waiting for the sting rays to come so they can pet them. The sting rays were super cute and soooo friendly. I could totally keep one as a pet!

Mattea watched Hyrum while the rest of as had a go on the bumper boats. Cheyanne and I got SOAKED by Liam, but it was super fun.

On the second day in Edmonton we stuck around Arlene's house and went to the park with them, Bill was in his conference and then we had a delicious dinner. The third day we went to the waterpark. The Waterpark was fun, but the kid park was closed and only 3 slides were open, so we didn't stay all day. Cheyanne ended up getting picked up by Mom and staying the rest of the week with her at Crystal's house, so she really got to bond with Saje and play with Tristan.

Liam got chosen on the last day of our trip at the last show to throw a frisbee to Pablo the Sea Lion. It was really fun (and scary) for him.

Fall Fun

Obi and Mo have really taken to the cats, and for some reason the cats seem okay with it! This is Obi and Daisy.

We went to a really cool home school party at the Burton's house. It was super fun, we played a lot of games inside., and we made "friendship Soup". Shaina Sala painted faces. Mo got a spider but it washed off before I could catch a picture.

We went to the park again and did some shopping as well. I've fallen in love with Costco Poutine. Yummmmm!

My other babies used to do this too, but with big bouncey balls. It's cute because this is the ball he migrates too every time, and he can breathe through it. It's pretty cute.

Our Halloween decorations are very home made this year, but super fun!

They rode around on this thing for quite a while, look at Hyrums chubby hands holding on for dear life!

Ezra is very creative and artistic. He will sit for hours and sculpt or draw or paint, or whatever. Today he made this dice, I was super impressed because he made it by himself and all the dots are in the right spots. Super cool!

Poor Liam got stung by a wasp! It climbed into his shirt and got angry. He freaked out pretty bad. I went to kill the wasp and his bottom was ripped off, I figured I'd let nature do it's thing. I ended up having to pull the stinger out, but I did wait until it wasn't so tender. Cheyanne had some Afterbite, so I put some on and that at least calmed him down. Poor kid has been stung more than anyone in our family, at least he's not allergic!

For FHE we went in to Lethbridge and had a fun time at Henderson Park. We all sat down and wrote out a 5 year plan, it was wonderful! Mosiah (obviously) was Darth Vader on this day. We went to the Handicap Center's Halloween Costume sale and picked up some stuff!

We did a track and field day with the Homeschool group here. It was really fun for the boys, and they had ribbons all the way down to 8th place, so everyone got one, which was super nice for all the kids. Liam and Ezra did really well.

After the dinosaur museum we drove out to Crystal and Darren's house to spend the weekend. On our anniversary (9 years) we spent the day at the World Water Park. It was so fun to spend the day with Bill, Cheyanne and the boys. Darren and Tristan even came out for a bit!

Happy Anniversary to my amazing Husband!!! It has been an incredible ride. I love you!

We met up with Arlene, Neil and Mattea for dinner at the Olive Garden. It was delicious!!! I love the never ending pasta bowl.

The next day we went back to the mall and visited the Santa Maria, one of Columbus' 3 ships, of course, it's not the real one, just a replica, but it was still cool, and educational.

So, on this ride I thought it was one were they pull you up to the top and drop you so I wasn't prepared when they launched us into the sky and then we fell. It was awesome!!!! Before it launched Bill said "Oh, by the way, I forgot to mention...." and then we got launched! It was pretty funny, like something out of a comic strip or a movie. This was my favorite ride. Everything else made me SICK. Blah.

Dinosaurs!!!

We had the opportunity to go to Drumheller with Nana to the Tyrell Museum (the Dinosaur Museum). It was amazing! We camped overnight, and froze our booties off, and then we were on our way.

We stopped at the Tourist Center to get pictures in the HUGE dinosaur. We climbed and climbed all the way to the top, and then I ran all the way down to get a picture of the whole family in the Mouth!

The museum was incredible. So much to see! We saw everything, some things twice, the boys loved the blown up underwater organism display. It grossed me out.

Shelly the soft shelled turtle. She's alive and well, and terrifying.

Our whole family weighs as much as a moose. Sweet!

The boys were exhausted and slept the whole way to Crystal and Darren's house, dreaming about dinosaurs and our next adventure!

Liam's first cub activity: Mothers and Sons!

What an insanely gorgeous, amazing day! The weather was perfect, the lake was like glass!
Liam and I started out with archery, and then when there were to many kids to teach effectively we volunteered to be in the first capture the flag group. My genious idea was to play Mom's against son's... bad idea. They beat us hard, and they did it without breaking a sweat. Us mom's were exhausted, sweaty and beat up!

After getting beat up we got our turn with the bows and arrows. We both did pretty good! We couldn't even hit the giant hay bail when we started, and when we were done we were hitting the target paper, and I even popped a balloon that we nailed up!
Next we got to row a canoe. Notice the water behind us is kind of choppy? Well, it was flat when we started, the wind picked up, going the wrong direction, when we started coming back to shore. It took super long, that wind was brutal!!! But we did it, we were so proud of us!

One of the mom's lost her keys and we had a big prayer and search to find them. I was so impressed with our group! As soon as we found the keys we all bowed our heads and said a prayer of thanks!

I was touched spiritually several times this day, and I was so happy to spend a special day with my cub, Liam, that was just for him. I was thankful for the opportunity that I had to tell him that I knew that Heavenly Father loves us and that he sent his son Jesus, our Savior to die for us, so that we might live with him again.

The Creek and the Fair

We went to the creek with our local homeschool group! It was super fun and Heather Burton was amazing, as usual. She taught the kids how to make amazing bubble solution, how to fold oragami boats that really floated, shared yummy snacks and she was even the first one to swing off the rope into the icey cold water!

Liam's baptism was amazing. So many people he loved came out. We made him this Scripture Cake to share. It was a big hit.

We had a big multi family birthday party for all the kids who have birthday's in the summer. Liam was in the group. It was a watermelon theme and we made cardboard box boats. Everyone say: "Cardboard Box Boat!!!"

Hyrum's new hat! We went to visit Aunt Diana in the hospital and Hyrum fell in love with her balloon daisy, and changed it into a hat.

Obi decided to throw a bolder up in the air. It didn't go to high, because he has little arms and this thing was massive. He came up to me with a gushing cut on his face! I put a bandaid on it, to let it sit before I checked to see if it needed stitches. It sealed itself up pretty well, so I just threw some super glue over top to keep him from picking it! Argh!

More Waterton! My favorite part of Waterton is always feeding these little dudes. There's about 10 billion of them, and although they act shy at first, they usually warm right up to you, but don't get to comfortable, they do bite, right Mattea?

This guy was trying to get a picture but the little things kept running away, so we started chucking bread at him and he got swarmed! It was pretty hilarious.

You can't leave Waterton without putting your feet in the water. They didn't last too long, it is sooooooo cold!

We visited the Card Home in Cardston and the Courthouse Museum and Jail as well!

What a great visit! We can't wait to see you guys for Liam's baptism!!!

We had an incredble trip. We visited more states then I've been in in my whole life.

We saw this huge moth after entering Montana. Yikes. It's pretty cool though!

One of the hotels we stayed at was pretty cool. The pool was amazing.

We are home now, and happy to be so, even though we were spoiled rotten in London. Thanks to the Skinners and the Reeves and of course the Peavoys! Love you all!

Mount Rushmore

Welcome to Mt. Rushmore. I've been looking forward to this day since before we even left on this trip! I came here when I was almost 2 and I have some cute pictures, so my goal was to get cute pictures of the boys. Unfortunatly, this first one was the cutest one I got of Liam. He was in a fowl mood. He was happy later when we went for pizza too.

Nauvoo

On our way back to Canada we stopped in Nauvoo. So far we had seen where Joseph Smith had grown up, and where he met our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ in the grove. We found where he printed the book of Mormon and restored the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And, we met the current living prophet of today! In Nauvoo we saw the new temple, went to Carthridge Jail where Joseph Smith was martyred, experienced the Historic Nauvoo and were greatly touched by the spirit.

When we first pulled in to park a tour was coming on a horse drawn carriage. When it was right in front of us I realized that the man closest to us on the front of the wagon is from my home town in Leavitt! He is serving a mission with his wife in Nauvoo! It was so cool to see him!!!

They had an old time fair before the Nauvoo pagent. It was so fun! The boys learned to play marbles, walk on stilts, dance to bag pipes, brand (on wood, not cows), have pototo sack races, and so much more!There was even a puppet show where everyone got to take home their own sock puppet!

Obi slept through the whole fair and the pagent so we don't have any pictures of him. Bummer.

They built a temple in the pagent, and then at the end of the pagent they lit up the real temple. It was so powerful and beautiful!

Palmyra, New York

Our trip to palmayra involved us going over the Niagra Falls, so we parked and got out. Did you know parking ranges from $1 to $20 depending on where you park? If you need a cheap parking spot let me know, we found one!

African Lion Safari

The Skinners were going to join us on our trip to Palmyra but decided instead to pay for us to go to the African Lion Safari in Ontario. It was incredible, and so much fun.

The lions were pretty boring, not much action, but I guess that's normal.

The cheetah's were up and moving which was pretty cool to see!

The monkey section was by far my favorite! A baboon jumped up on each of our cars! One jumped on our hood and grabbed our antenna ball, shoved it in his mouth and took off into the trees! The boys thought that was pretty hilarious! Here's Tasha with the baboons.

This ostrich made a snack of the dead bugs on every ones car. It was pretty gross, but cool to see him pecking the cars. Mo was terrified!

They had an elephant bath and an elephant show. The bath was cool to see but the show was incredible.

The Other Great Lake

We went in the evening to another Great Lake. It was a lot dirtier, but still fun. We made Liam a Giant Sand Man.

And then the boys buried me. Ezra went to the lake and filled up his buckets and then walked over to me and dumped them right on my face! I suspect Bill had something to do with that because he got the whole thing on tape!

Then they sat down with Obi and had a chat about life.

I love beaches, but it's quite unfortunate how much sand gets into everything. Hyrum was covered in it. This is after I washed his face off. He was not happy with me, but somehow he forgave me and went to sleep, even though he was still covered in sand. Poor baby!

Early Morning Hike

The Skinners have this amazing ravine that runs past their backyard. I has an amazing hiking trail, so we all took a hike early one morning. It was long, and tiring... oh, and fun. Right... fun. (I am not much of a hiker... I'll admit it).

Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th! We spent ours in Canada, so it was low key, but we did continue on with a tradition...

It was a tradition in Pahrump for the boys to go to Bible camp in the summer, Vanessa and Tasha decided to carry on that tradition in London and the boys (and Jasmine) got to go to a Panda Bear themed bible camp in this beautiful church.
The church is right down town so we walked over to the local farmers market. Bill witnessed a man taking off with cheeses and Tasha was appaled (as we all were). A couple of minutes later we looked over and found this beauty in the stroller. Faith had taken it. We laughed so hard that we had seen two things stolen in a matter of minutes. Maybe they should hire some more security! Of course, we returned our stolen goods, we can't say the same for the other guy.

Hyrum and Obi got bored of shopping and took a nap at the market.

Happy Canada Day

We had an amazing Canada day on the beach at one of the Great Lakes, with a beautiful flag blowing in the breeze the whole time. We got some amazing pictures of our whole group with it, but unfortunately, the disc I got of those pictures doesn't work in any computer! Bummer.

We started our day off with some cute family pictures in front of a little church. Later our family got some done at the lake as well, but those pictures are on the same disc that doesn't work! The only pictures I have are these cuties here.

John saw this sign and was flattered that the Church of God thought enough of him to make a sign just for him. "God gave himself to you, and for you John! At 3:16. He noticed we were an hour early for the message, but that was okay.

We went to a girls night out at one of Vanessa's friends house. Vanessa brought her newly made jewelry making kit and let anyone who wanted make a necklace. I made a matching bracelet for mine. I love mine and wear it all the time!

We were supposed to go to this amazing beautiful honey farm, but it cost so much money, and amazingly it cost the same amount for a 3 year old as an adult, so we didn't go in, but we did buy some souvenirs and get some pictures!

Things were a little quieter today. We had a nice campfire BBQ at Tasha and Dave's house to use up the stuff from camping that didn't get used. We ended up leaving the camp a night early because of the rain. After stuffing our faces we walked over to the park for a little while. I ended up running Ezra back to the house to go to the bathroom. I was beat when all was said and done!

Thomas S. Monson Camp

On our first day in Ontario we headed out to a camp dedication at the newly built Thomas S. Monson camp, to be dedicated by President Monson himself! Unfortunately the boys were so excited to see their cousins that they woke them up in the middle of the night, and none of them went back to sleep. This is what I found at 7:00 in the morning. This is not where I put him. I guess they visited the backyard, watched Ponyo, and played for hours. They slept all the way to the camp though!

When we got there it was soaked from the rain. It stopped long enough for us to set up camp and then it started back up... and never quit.

This is at the dedication. We didn't have an umbrella, but everyone else did. The people who were in front of us had one, and theirs dripped down on us the whole time. We were soaked and freezing, but it was so worth it to be so close to the Prophet and to hear his words and to feel his love for Ontario and Canada.

Right before President Monson got up to speak the rain stopped and the umbrellas went down. That's all I was praying for! What a blessing. What a miracle! Turns out that President Monson said a prayer that it wouldn't rain on our show! Gotta love that! Look how close we were! He even wiggled his ears!

We took our boys, Rudy, Tanner and their friend Curtis on a hike up to where they will be planting a garden on a huge hill top. There is even an "iron rod" on the way up. So beautiful.

I am so glad that we had this incredible opportunity, I will forever remember this day and the feelings I had. The miracles that took place. I think the boys will too.

We took an amazing road trip to London, Ontario to visit Bills family. What a loooong, amazing trip we have. Here are pictures of us on the way to their house. We left on June 21, we got there June 23... midnightish.
Here we have pictures representing the states we visited. Montana, a picture of the campsite sign in North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, the Michigan/Ontario border, and then later in our trip we hit the Ontario/New York border, where we saw Niagara falls, but you're not really supposed to know about that yet!

My Mom packed us amazing lunches for our first day driving. What a blessing, we didn't have to stop at all. Our first night camping we were mostly full from the huge foody day, so we had cereal for dinner. The campsite was amazing, and it only cost us $6! It was insanely dewy, to the point where if you walked through the grass you were soaked from the knee down.

Bill blew up the air mattresses because the batteries in our pump were dead. Way to go hubby! You rock!

Flowers the boys picked for me. Technically I left them in the park, they may not have survived though. Shhhh, don't tell.

These are huge water bags on the side of the road to keep the water from the overfilled lakes from swamping the road way. We stayed in Wisconsin and a hotel the second night.

By the last day driving I was out of food I could eat on my diet... (by the way, I'm on the Candida diet, which is a no yeast diet. Yeast has overtaken my body and Hyrum has thrush really bad... still. So there are a limited number of things I can eat.) I had a bunch of celery and I was super duper grouchy so Bill suggested I eat it, even if it was not washed, and uncut. I did. I felt so much better after, and to Bill's amusement I pretended to enjoy every delicious bite.

We got there just after midnight, visited with the Skinners and went to bed. Big day tomorrow!

My dad called me up and invited me to go to Pirates 4 with him, so I did my hair in this amazing new Karmin style I found online. It's called Mohawk style. I love Karmin. Mostly I love Amy from Karmin, but whatever. I loved Pirates. My friend Jill was at the theatre too, so we sat with her and her group. Thanks Dad, thanks Jill, thanks hubby for watching ALL the boys. You rock.

Paintballing

Bill and I got invited by Adam and Corrine Elderkin to go paint balling. I didn't want to go. I had mastitis again. I was terrified of getting hit. It was rainy. I had a million reasons, and yet somehow I ended up all dressed up and ready to go... terrified or not, I was going paint balling.

It was amazing. I loved it so much. I had huge bruises and welts, but it didn't hurt as bad as I thought it would. Cheyanne watched the kids while Bill and I went. Unfortunately Corrine and I had to leave early to feed the babies, so I didn't get any picture of the whole group, or Bill, but I did get a shot of her and me. This is Corrine.

It stopped raining for a minute and the construction/destruction bug has hit the workers here! They are tearing up our road! They said it will be less than a month until they are done though.

Bill and I went and got all of our stuff out of the chicken coop at my parents place. Unfortunately it got wet. Really wet. We have a lot of moldy books and pictures. Very unfortunate. Sniffle.

Liam got a ridiculously large mosquito bite and his arm swelled up like a balloon... an arm shaped balloon. I can't even make my thumb and finger touch on his arm.

We moved into a new house.... again! We have a whole house to ourselves, we can see the temple from our HUGE front windows, I can lay in my bed at night and stare at the lit up temple, we have a garden in our back yard, we have amazing neighbors and an amazing neighborhood. Our garden is full of strawberries and raspberries. Our trampoline is set up, our bikes are out! We have five bedrooms, two sitting rooms, two bathrooms, a homeschool room and an office. Life is fantastic, we are SO happy. There is enough storage space in this house to store everything we own and your stuff too!

We cat-sat Brutus for my parents for a week. He is so cute and so fun!

Kym and Marion (Mom) came to visit, they were here for Brittany's wedding, and they stayed at our house. It was so nice to have them!

We had a suprise party for Aunt Linda who turned 60, the sisters all sang her a lovely song. It is so fun to hang out with this family!

Bill has been volunteering with the Town of wherewelive as the host of wherewelive's amazing race. While he was recording some voice-overs the boys and I played at a park that I used to play at when I was a kid. When I lived here before there was a gigantic slide as well, but for some reason they ripped it out. The boys had a blast anyways.

The rain has been pouring down in buckets, so we've been going through a lot of hotchocolate and "Cars" the movie marshmallows. Bill dumped a bunch into his cup and when he looked at it all he had was Sally and her hotel cones. Mo keeps saying "She's getting cozy with the cones!" To cute.

Thrush

Poor Hyrum has a bad case of Thrush, which of course I also have. The red on his face is from the yeast. It's so sad and painful! We are going on about 2 weeks now. I hope we recover soon. I'm sure that giant chocolate Easter bunny didn't help. Bummer.

I had a tea party with Batman, an octopus, Optimus Prime (the Transformer), a cowboy, a Jedi Knight, and my husband. Good times.

Troy made it up for the weekend and the boys enjoyed playing with him so much.

Cheyanne was here too, we loved having her, and she loved her chocolate easter bunny!

We went for a beautiful walk around the temple on Easter Sunday. Cheyanne has more, better pictures that I need to get from her.

Community Easter Egg Hunt

They had a big Easter Egg hunt down at the Carriage Museum. They seperated it into age groups so Mo and Obi got to search together, and Liam and Ezra got to search together. Everybody got to find a lot of chocolate, and they met the Easter bunny too! The funnest part was looking at all the carriages with Nana and Cheyanne!

TJED Forum and P-town

The TJed forum was this month and it was incredible again! This time they had a love of learning center for kids so the boys got to come with Bill and I, and I got to work in the center with them. It was fun for all of us! Cheyanne came along and for her contribution to the center she got us all tickets to the ball. She has all the pictures on her camera, so I will have to get them from her to post eventually.

We stayed with the Jensen's in P-town when we went to get the rest of our stuff. Motega has grown up so much and him and Hyrum were so cute together. We had a blast at their house. Bill and Lonnon worked on the suburban to get it ready for the Canadian inspection and we ended up staying for quite a bit longer than initially planned, but I loved the time to visit with Venesha.

On the way home we stopped at a Walmart in Montana and when we came out the trailer had broken off of the suburban. We ended up having to get a hotel and stay the night. The guy running the hotel helped us out so much, letting us stay after check out and using his own time to call around and find a welder for us for cheap. He was amazing. You don't find people like that every day. Thank you!

When we finally reached the border they wouldn't even let us bring the trailer over, so it's still at the border for Bill to go and get another day. I hope it's okay!

Liam's Birth Story

Because of a friend that I have met recently who is interested in my birth stories I decided to just blog about the ones that haven't been blogged yet. This is Liam's story...

Liam Jefferson Peavoy

Liam Jefferson Peavoy, born August 26th, 2003. 8 lbs, 12 oz.

Liam was due on August 30th, and because he was my first pregnancy Dr. Jochim (I had my first two babies in the hospital with Dr. Jochim) thought I might go late. My Mom was down visiting a week before I was due and Dr. J stripped my membranes thinking that might help me go early, but my Mom ended up having to leave before he came. On Monday, August 25th I started having labor pains at Kym and Adam Woods house at around 11:00pm. They were pretty steady so Kym, who has had 7 kids, suggested we go for a walk. After walking around the block for a while the contractions were 1 -2 minutes apart so we headed to the hospital. After we checked into the hospital they measured me and I was only 4 cm dilated so we

decided to walk around the hospital to speed it up. Because I was already a 4 they wouldn't let me leave and we ended up staying in the hospital over night. Finally, when I was 7 cm dilated, Dr. J broke my water. When I hit 10 cm they put my feet in stirrups and started I started pushing. Kym Wood was there and acted as my Doula, and Bill held my hand. I remember at one point I was pretty tense and he tried to make me laugh, but I guess I felt like birthing was supposed to be a serious thing and I yelled at him. I still feel guilty 7 1/2 years later! I've lightened up quite a bit now! I don't know how long I pushed, but it felt like forever. When I was 18 I went cliff diving off an 80 foot drop. When I hit the water I landed wrong and ended up tearing myself up in my "birthing area" pretty bad. I guess, because of this injury and the scar tissue, I just couldn't stretch right, so I ended up having an episiotomy. As soon as Dr. J cut me Liam kind of just fell out. Liam was born at 11:16 am. He was 8 lbs, 12 oz. A good size, healthy, beautiful baby boy.

I remember when I looked at Liam for the first time I thought no baby could ever possibly be as beautiful as the one we had just helped create.

The "birthing team" minus Dr. Jochim.I looked on line for a picture of Dr. Jochim holding a cute baby or something, this is what I found!!! I LOVE it! Dr. J loved hunting so much!

Ezra's Birth Story

Ezra Adams Peavoy

There was quite a turn out for Ezra's birth. My Mom vowed to not miss it, so she was there for a while before he was due. My best friend from elementary school Nikiea came up for the birth and my cousin Logan was in Cottonwood as well. Ezra was due on February 15th, but Nikiea and Logan were planning on going on a little road trip for a while and really wanted that baby to be out before they left on the 11th. They made me do a lot of hiking! Finally, on February 11th, at 5:35 in the morning I had a huge contraction that woke me up. I layed in bed through 2 more contractions, 10 minutes apart, and then got up to do my hair and makeup (I like to look at least "OK" for my births). When I was ready to go, we let everyone know that we were heading to the hospital and that we'd call with news after we got there. We stopped at Kym and Adam's house to let them know, decided to walk around the block (it was raining lightly, but it was nice) and then headed to the library to drop off some books. We were going to walk around the hospital before going in but it felt like he might be coming sooner then we thought so we went in to get checked out. After checking in Dr. J came in to check me and found that I was already 7 cm! He broke my water and ran to get into his scrubs. Ezra was born 15 minutes later!!!! My mom and Kym made it just in time! Logan and Nikiea were able to come and visit Ezra before they left on their road trip, so it was perfect! My first contraction was at 5:35 and Ezra was born at 10:35am. Five hours from start to finish! Ezra was 8 lbs 12 oz, just like Liam.

Liam thought Ezra was the best thing that ever happened in the world. He wouldn't put him down!

Mosiah Washington Peavoy

We decided to have our 3^rd baby at home using a midwife. At about 4 AM on January 5^th, I had a contraction and got out of bed to do my hair and makeup. After then next contraction I realized it was a little to painful so I woke Bill up to ask if him if I should call the midwife. Bill knew it was long drive in from Vegas so he decided it was best to get the midwife to start driving. For the next 45 minutes, Bill set up the birthing kit and supplies and got everything ready for when our midwife, Sandy, would arrive. After a pretty solid contraction, I said to Bill, "Soooo, if I was to have this baby, like NOW, would you be okay?" Bill assured me that he would be fine if we needed to proceed without Sandy and I said "Good, cause I can feel his head!" Bill looked and sure enough, there was his head! With the midwife still 20 minutes away, Bill rolled up his sleeves and reassured me that he would deliver the baby and everything would be fine. With the midwife talking into his ear on the cell phone and his mother (the only other person in the house) handing him everything he needed, Bill delivered his 3^rd beautiful son into this world at 5:30 AM. Compared to our 2 previous births, this one was the quickest, smoothest and easiest on me. Because I was trying to keep Mosiah in until the midwife arrived I actually didn't even push, he just kind of slid out when he was ready! It was the most beautiful experience in the world and when the midwife finally arrived she said that Mosiah was one of the healthiest and strongest babies she’d ever seen. Sandy showed up about 10 minutes after Mosiah came out. She finished up and left in record time! Before she left, she asked Bill if he’d like to study to become a midwife (and she wasn't joking). Mosiah Washington Peavoy weighed 9 lbs at birth and measured 20 ½ inches long. He is beautiful and healthy, and we think he’s perfect in every way.

Liam's Chin....

4 years ago Liam fell out of a Walmart cart and busted his chin open, the story is here. Now Liam has a new story to tell. We all got invited to a birthday party at the skating rink. We don't have skates yet, but we decided to find some helmets and go anyway. We would just be walking on the ice and getting used to the feel of it. Liam felt it alright. Liam and Ezra and Daddy with the stroller were the first ones out on the ice, Mo and I joined after we got Mo's helmet fitted properly. As soon as I got on the ice (about 3 minutes after everyone else) Liam fell backwards in front of me and smacked the back of his helmet pretty good. I gasped and Bill told me that that was actually the 6th time he had fallen! I said a silent thank you to Sarah, the birthday boys mom, for making us bring helmets.

I then grabbed my camera and started to take pictures of my camera. It wasn't until just now that I realized that I had the progression of Liam's Dilema on film.

Bill will probably not appriciate this picture of his bum, but notice Liam in this picture holding his chin and crying. (Taken at 3:23pm, that's a lot of falls in 1 minute!!!") I slid over to see what was wrong and it was pretty bad. There is this monstrous gaping hole where Liam's chin should be! Before I left the house I grabbed a clean white washcloth... just in case of emergency... and I threw that on his chin. After talking to a couple of family friends and a nurse who happens to be the Birthday Boys teacher... I think... we got in the car and headed to the ER.

Warning: The next picture is a little graphic for you weak stomached friends. It makes me cringe! You can also see the scar from his last incident. There is also a HUGE alligator tear rolling down his neck. Poor boy! (This picture was taken in the van in front of the hospital at 3:41pm)

When he came out of the hospital he was so excited! He had a cool story to share and 5 stitches! What could be more fun than that!?!? (They wanted to give him a sedative, but he was able to calm him self down so he wouldn't need one.) So, we loaded him back in the car and went to the rest of Jordans party at the local bakery.

1 week later he got the stitches out.

Phew! We have a lot of birthdays early in the year!!! Ezra loves fish. He loves clams, snails, shells of all sorts really. For his birthday I made him a clam cake and a Nemo cake. Nana made him seafood chowder for lunch. His "job" of the day was to pull all the tails off of the shrimps. Nasty!!!! He loved it. I ate a lovely corn chowder, everyone else had seafood chowder. Ezra picked all the crab and shrimp out and ate it.

Bill's birthday was on the 16th, but we celebrated it a little later in the week. We actually got all bundled up and braved the weather too! Althouh it's beautiful it's actually SUPER freezing.

If you look carefully at the picture below you can see the owl in this tree. We could hear it hooting while we were unloading boxes.For Bill's birthday we did a trail of 35 feet with a reason that we love him on each one. It led to a magnificent cake!!!This has nothing to do with Bill's birthday. His name is Puff, go figure.

Mo Mo turned 4!!! Isn't this picture fantastic? I told him to pic any pose he wanted, this is what I got. Oh well, at least he has a birthday ribbon!Mosiah wanted a "Blue Beetle" cake for his birthday. Blue Beetle is one of Batman's good buddies, seen most recently in Batman the Brave and the Bold, or something like that.
Mo actually asked to hold Hryum. That is not a very common thing, when ever he asks, no matter what, I let him. Hyrum smiles at Mo whenever he holds him.
I went into my bedroom after cake and icecream and found these boys hanging out together... in Hyrums bed! Look how happy Obi is!

Home School Magic

Since we moved here Liam has really been into learning how to read. We are doing "Teach your Child to Read in 100 easy Lessons". He is flying through them. The last exercise of each lesson is to write the "sounds". He loves that part the best!Obadiah had a run in with the hard wooden stairs and lost. He really got beat up. Papa carpeted the stairs later the same day! Thanks Papa! Notice the chocolate milk on his shirt. Ya, we drink that a lot now!
Gus Gus just loves Hyrum. When ever I breast feed him he sits with us, often times on both Hyrum and me (my breast). He also sits in Hyrums seat when he's not around. So cute!

Cambria made me a beautiful butterfly cupcake for a going away gift, along with a plate of mickey mouse cookies. So cute! I miss you Cambria! He has to have a book to go to bed, and whatever toy he's been lugging around all day. This time it was an empty Clifford sippy cup. (Never let your kids go to bed with full sippy cups... only bad things can happen!)

The boys participated in an ornament exchange this year with some friends in Utah, Canada, and Nevada. We colored wooden ornament kits and then glittered them up. We received a foam wreath from the Taylors in Canada, and a Popsicle stick snowflake from the Severts in Nevada. Way to much fun! We can't wait to see what we get from the other 4 families!

I left Hyrum on my bed the other day after changing him and he fell asleep. Ezra happened in on the situation and figured that the cute baby needed his blanky and a pillow. This is his doing:

We had Thanksgiving all alone this year. It was fun to do just our family, but it is always a little funner (is that a word?) and a little more hectic with more.

We got our family pictures done yesterday by my awesome friend Salina, they won't be ready for a while so we took some with our camera when we got home, of the boys. Aren't they handsome? The shirts were a Christmas gift from Kelly and Tasha, they arrived the day before pictures!!! Thanks girls, they were a smashing success!!!

My husband finally convinced me to sell my awesome bunk-bed crib set on Craigslist. We're asking $100 for it but I wanted to offer it to any of our friends who might be interested for $50.... so I know that they are going to a good home! It's ideal for any kids smaller than Mosiah (he's almost four). When we lived in Arizona, Ezra and Liam slept in these. Ezra up top, because he was to little to climb, and Liam on the bottom so he could get in and out as he pleased. They were in these until we moved here when Liam was 3. My friend Sandy, who I got these from used them for her daycare kids.

I am also selling a bunch of ribbon for making bows with a book on how to make it look professional for $15.

We have 200 square feet of really nice tile that we are selling for $100.... it's your lucky day if you want to redo your bathroom!!!

We have a lot of other stuff that we will be getting rid of eventually, so if you're interested in something you know I have that I might be selling let me know. I'll keep you posted too!

Hyrum Madison Peavoy

Hyrum was born on Thursday, November 11, 2010! He was 10 lbs 4 oz and 21 1/2 inches long! We didn't have quite the gathering at this birth as we did at the last, just Bill, Cindy and my Mom. I decided enough was enough in the waiting game and sent my Mom to go and get me some Castor Oil. I decided to take it at 7:00 pm, even though everybody recomends taking it in the morning, because I like having my babies while my boys are sleeping so they don't have to go to a babysitter. I had a nice bath and even put a mud mask on my face to relax. Got out of the bath, kissed boys goodnight, watched an episode of Star Trek and then at 10:00pm I got my first contraction. The contractions were not what I would call normal. They were very short and very strong. Lasting only 30 seconds but coming 30 seconds apart. They eventually got more normal, I called my midwife, told her about my taking castor oil, got a little lecture on why mornings are better then night, and told her I'd call back in a half hour to let her know if things were progressing. Just before 11:00 pm my water broke and the contractions got stronger. I called Cindy (my midwife) and told her to come over. Cindy arrived just after 11:00 checked the baby's stats, and then checked me. She said I was 9 cm dilated and that the baby would come soon. I figured at nine cm I would have to wait a while to push, but then suddenly my body was pushing, so I went along with it. Within minutes I felt his head crown, but before I could register the burning his head was out, and his shoulders were engaged, one more push and there was this beautiful boy at 11:27 pm. I actually had to call for my Mom to run during a push so she wouldn't miss him coming out! He is perfect in every way! HUGE and lovely.

Ducks and Baby Preparations

One of our favorite buffets here just started doing their 2 for 1 buffet again on their roast beef night, so we thought we'd check it out. As always on 2 for 1 night, there was a long wait, but it didn't matter because we brought bread from home to feed the ducks!!! The boys had a blast feeding them bits of bread... except for Mo. He figured the skinny duck needed his whole piece to itself, so Mo mostly watched his brothers feed the ducks. Still fun though. Obi loves the ducks and now walks around the house pointing at all pictures of ducks, and rubber ducks and calling them quack quacks.

My Mom and I went and got our toe nails done. I usually do this right before I have my babies, so now my toes are all pretty and ready. Vanessa says I should have done blue because I'm having a boy, but I figure there's enough blue in this house already!Nana was in charge of the baby blanket this year. This is not a cheap blanket!!! It's all minky or manky or whatever that stuff is! Thanks Nana, Hyrum loves you!!!This morning we went for a long walk to see if we could bring on some contractions.... none as of yet... It was a lot of fun to explore nature with the boys and their Daddy though!

I've been having a heck of a lot of false labor so Bill decided I could have my flowers early. Often they show up magically during my labor, this time they showed up magically during my false labor. They even grew in size when the boys told Daddy that I needed flowers from the back yard too! Thanks husband, you are the best.

October was so much fun! Halloween, Baby Anticipation, Plus we got to go back to Canada for a short trip. I only hope November will be as fun!!!

I put Obi down for a nap in his "new" bed. I heard him playing and let it go. I went to check on him a while later and this was him behind the door.Our weekend in Canada was filled with excitement. The first huge event was Bill's Great Great Aunt Teeny's 100th Birthday! We also got to have Thanksgiving with my parents. We visited with Danielle and her family. We stayed with Crystal and Darren and Triston, and we even got to stay with Aunt Della!

Aunt Teeny was born 10/10/10 and in honor of her 100th birthday she arrived in this HUGE SUV Limo, just for her!
Ezra was so cute. He just had to tell Aunt Teeny that he wanted her to have the best birthday ever. He cut in line and stood right by her wheel chair until the lady with him let him talk to her. It was really sweet.

After our big Thanksgiving dinner we did a lot of fun out door stuff. We rode horses with my Cowgirl Sister Cheyanne. We dug for worms. We looked at the Batman Jeep. We learned to ride a pogo stick and an electric scooter. Then we had a campfire with hot-dogs and smokies. After that the boys had a nice bath and went to bed! It was a great day! Thanks Parents!

We all know Mo loves Batman, but what you all didn't know is that Obi loves him just as much!!! He calls him Man Man!!!
While the other boys were on the horse Obi figured out how to do his own seatbelt... kind of...

Cheyanne is telling us about how he wouldn't let go of the saddle and the reins and how cute it was, that's why the cute laughing face.Papa brought out the electric scooter to show all the boys. My friend Sarah and her son Jordan where there too so all the boys including Jordan got Scooter rides and Pogo stick rides. It was humorous to watch Bill teaching kids 7 and under how to jump on a pogo stick!!! Good job honey!

I didn't get a very good shot of Bill on the pogo stick, but I did get one of him on the horse. Raised in the city? You couldn't tell by the way he rides. For some reason he kept quoting Woody from Toy Story.

I laughed really hard when I uploaded this picture to my computer, because it makes Obi look like the devil. Read eyes with Fire shooting out!!! This was at the weaner roast we had after our awesome Canadian Thanksgiving Dinner at my parents house. Thanks Nana!!!
On our way home from Canada we stopped at this rest stop and this is the sign we were greeted with. The reason I posted it is because when I was a kid we stopped at this same rest stop and after being stuck in the car for so long Crystal and I bolted right for the grass and were playing and having a great time until my Dad said "Hey girls, come here, I wanna show you something..." so we ran over and he made us read this sign. I actually cried I was so devastated. I guess I was really good at playing the "what if" game, because I was so shook up by it, it was all I could think about for the next couple of days! It also took Bill several days to quit saying, "There's a snake in my boot."
Nana is here to help until the baby comes. My original (wrong) due date was October 28th. It has now been bumped to November 4th! Poor Nana, we don't know how long she'll have to end up staying, but she says she's not leaving until this baby pops out! I am measuring 2 weeks earlier than my wrong due date, so who knows when this baby will come?

We went as vegetables this year. The boys were PEAvoys, also PEA-boys. Bill, Nana, and I made the giant pea pod costume.

Bill and I were carrots, although there was a lot of confusion about my belly and people thought I was a pumpkin. Come on people... that is so a carrot costume!!! Nana was our gardener!

Happy Anniversary Bill. I just want you to know how much I love you and how incredible you are to me, the boys, our families, our community, and every one we know. Here are some things I love about you...

You are the perfect husband for me... and probably any woman, but keep that to yourself, I don't share well.
You are an incredible father. The boys love and respect you. They want to be just like you and try to imitate everything you do, including telling me that I am beautiful every day, which of course makes me, again, the happiest wife and mommy there is.
You are quick to resolve problems, whether they be tiny issues like spilled milk, or bigger things like our boys duking it out. You never let me go to bed angry, and your policy of holding hands and being stuck together until issues are resolved work amazingly.
You are so thoughtful! I am always shocked that somehow when I am in labor I look up and there are a dozen roses sitting right where my focal point is. How do you even find time to get those flowers? Incredible!
You are so good at balancing play time with the boys and work time so that everything gets done, including the love that needs to be shared.
The love that you have for your siblings... and mine, is so incredible. I hope that they know how much you love them, I hope they can feel it. I know they can!
The love and respect you show to your mother is perfect. She knows that she can count on you to not let her down. What you did for her this last month has been incredible! She had such a big move to make, from NV to UT! You helped her go through everything, held a huge garage sale, helped her make the money she needed plus some, packed up her truck and got her safely on her way. I know that she is grateful and so am I!
You are such an amazing teacher, to our children, to me, and to the kids in the community that you teach early in the morning.
Young adults look up to you and respect you. I have seen many kids change bad behaviors because of your positive influence on them. One student that stands out in my mind is Abigail. When you met her she was in such a bad place, and then through some mentoring and your incredible voice instructor capabilities she transformed from a sad lonely caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly! Thanks for teaching everybody you come in contact with how to stretch their wings!
I appreciate the help you give me around the house. You are quick to make meals when I just need a couple of minutes to put my feet up. You are one of the only dads I know that not only changes diapers, but puts the soiled ones in the right garbage can and doesn't even complain!
Your ability to make any situation into a learning opportunity for the boys is so incredible to me!
I love that when someone calls you up for help in our neighborhood, or even anywhere in town, that you will drop everything and run to their aid!
What a good example you are to everyone! I hope to be just like you when I grow up!!! Okay, you're not that old, but I still like to tease you!

We watched the Jensen kids a lot this month in preperation for their new little one to arrive. Because we had other kids here it was hard to stick with our sleep schedule so I saw a lot of this going on...

Venesha and I were given car seats from our awesome friend Crystal. We can't wait until we have our babies to put in them... however the "big" brothers can! They think they got new toys! After I brought the car seats home I hid them in the laundry room, turned off the lights and shut the doors. A couple of minutes later I heard Obi saying to Zzyzx, "night night", so I went in there and... here they are!
We went to the pool on the last day it was open. Usually there are a billion people there, but this time it was pretty quiet. It was nice to swim even though the water was chilly. I found a way to float with this big ol' belly of mine without drowning too, so now I can't wait until next summer!!! Pool noodles rock!

This is Obi and his friend Shallon Severts at the park. She is Mo's age and he saw her hanging on this rail and decided he could be a big boy like her. Crazy boys!
I tried to let the boys all sleep together. As you can see Obi is not so keen on the sleeping part of bed time. This lasted about 5 minutes and then Obi went back to his crib.

The best part of the month so far was when we went to Vegas to visit Grandma and Bill pulled out the stroller which had my camera just sitting there waiting for us to find it!!!

We all went to the splash pad with Grandma, where she bought us all delicious ice cream and then she watched Obi while Bill and I took the boys to Despicable Me. It was cute, but not as good as I thought it would be. Most of the funny stuff was in the previews.

I ended up using my video camera for big events in July, we had a few, so I've got some decent pictures. One of my favorites... Oreo Mustaches at the park!

We visited Grandma and had a dancing party at her house!

The boys all had dentist appointments this month, just check ups, where we found out they all need a little bit of work done. We did it and they are all fixed up and looking great! Obi is to little to go, and because we messed up the other kids teeth so bad we've been super careful with his, so he is good!

Due to babysitting and other things we missed a couple of naps. Mo fell asleep several times in different spots. He's one of those kids that can sleep anywhere if he puts his mind to it.

Venesha Jensen has a baby due a little before me and we watch her kids while she goes into Vegas for her Dr. appointments. One after noon I broke out the butcher paper and we did Monsters that we fought with water guns after. It was super fun. I ended up finding a point and click camera and put most of the pictures on there, but here's a picture of the poster on progress.

We did the usual for the fourth of July. Fireworks, Star blanket, glow sticks and glow bracelets. It was so fun!

Our nephew Taylor got his mission call to Washington and we went to Arizona for his farewell. It was so uplifting, and really good for our boys to have an awesome role model like him to look up too.

Bill got up really early one morning, like 5-ish and went to sit on the trampoline. He noticed the cat playing with what he thought was a fairly large lizard. He was intrigued and ended up getting up to take a peak. He was a little shocked when he found this! The biggest one either of us have ever seen was maybe 2 inches long. This one was even bigger before Bill killed it. I'm so glad I only saw it dead! Ewwww!

I feel cheesy with my blog titles lately, but whatever. Just deal! Again, due to lack of pictures this is a pretty short post. I don't have my cupcake pictures from this month, we did mini pies made out of icing and m'n'm's! So cute, Cambria says she'll get me a pic eventually!

After bath time one day Mo wanted a Mo hawk. I told him if he got one everyone would call him Mo-Mo Mohawk. He thought that was hilarious.

This month I decided to do a little... okay, a lot of late spring cleaning. I went through each room and got rid of so much stuff. Prepare for the hugest garage sale in history coming up the first week in September. My house is now almost clutter free. I am super excited. While I was working on the boys room, which took over a week (I was disgusted with how many toys we had) I had them all nap in my bed. For some reason they have never ever napped so good. So if you ever need your kids to nap, throw em in your room, leave the door open and "poof" off to dream land they go!

After I finished de-junking the living room, and hallway I hired a carpet cleaner to come through. While he was here Obi fell off the bed in the boys room and smashed his face on something, I have no clue what. Lots of blood later he seemed okay. We probably should have stitched it up, like the say, hind site is 20/20, but we didn't and now he's got a pretty decent scar. Poor kid. Oh well, I guess chicks dig scars.

Hammy the Hamster and Lobstery the Lobster also died (I told you my kids had original names, the lobster was really a crawdad, but don't tell Ezra), so we went and picked out a little mouse, they wanted to name him Mousey, with the code name 626, so I told them that Stitch's name from Lilo and Stitch was 626, so they changed his name to Stitch. Later I realized I've had a cat named Stitch, so I guess I'm not so original with the names either!

I've always wanted to learn to french braid my own hair, and after my camping hair fiasco I decided to just give it a try. These are my first attempts.

Because of the loss of my camera my May post is not so big. We had a big birthday party at Chelsea's house, Cambria brought cupcakes. I promised her I'd get her a picture, now at least she can steal it off my blog!
