Andy's Birthday and a sneak peek

The homeschool group here had a Halloween party last week so the boys got to wear their costumes early, which was so exciting for them. That also meant that I had to be done their costumes a week early, but somehow it worked out. In case you didn't notice, our theme this year is The Wizard of Oz. I am currently making Dorothy's costume, who will be played by none other than Kelly Peavoy. I did not make Mosiah's Lion costume, it was given to us for Christmas last year. It probably would have been cooler to make our own, but definatly more stressful, so we went with the pre-made one. More pictures to come after Halloween, with Dorothy and Toto included, with a possibility of the Wicked Witch of the West and The all-powerful Wizard of Oz. For now, enjoy these little cuties.
After the party we took naps to get ready for Andy's birthday party and pumpkin carving party. He got some sweet gifts and a cool cake. He turned four on the 28th, Happy Birthday Andy! The pumpkin carving was fun. We let the kids paint theirs, and use markers, and then we cut a couple of them out. Our boys still had their makeup on from their party.
Vanessa carved this little pumpkin and I said he looked just like Sonny.
Ezra (and Daddy's) masterpiece.
Jake carved a pirate ship.
Bill and I have been married for 6 years, and in those 6 years he has only ever carved a pumpkin once... until last week. He decided to do his own pumpkin this year, AND he decided that if he was going to do it, it had to be awesome, so he carved "Bella and Edward". You've gotta love it!The day after the party Ezra saw the Halloween makeup on the table, and decided to do his own makeup. I had no idea what he was doing, just that he kept running back and forth between the kitchen table and Grandma's mirror. When I finally stopped doing my makeup long enough to check it out he looked like this. I'm sure he would have been "much prettier" if I hadn't noticed when I did.
