Hippity Hop

Grandma has these 3 adorable lawn ornaments in her garden. There are 2 bunnies, and a larger rabbit. Mosiah is absolutely IN LOVE with the babies, and if he ever manages to get out the front door, he runs instantly to these little white cuties, and brings them inside. Most of the time he just grabs one, but the other day he was out with Grandma packing both of them around. They are fairly heavy, and of course breakable, so we aren't so keen on his new friends, but it doesn't matter, he loves them so much that he is willing to put up with sad/angry parents, just to hug and kiss them. On the day he had both of them in his arms, he took them over to the bench and put them up, then he climbed up and just picked one up, kissed it, and then put him back down so that he could pick up the other one and give it a kiss. Over and over. Is that not the cutest thing?

Mosiah's Farm Day

There is a local home school group here, and the last activity we attended was "Krystal's Ranch Day", which was a field trip out to a farm that is run by, well, Krystal.... and her family. The boys had so much fun on this trip, and Mommy got so sunburned! Of course these activities are more for the older boys, but Mo had a blast too, so Here is Mosiah's Story:

We started off without a stroller for Mo, which turned out to be a headache, because not only did Mo LOVE the dogs, but the dogs loved Mo, and they were much bigger than him and easily knocked him over. After he was in the stroller he enjoyed his day much more.

While the kids were grooming the pony I took Mo over for a little close up with the goats. I don't think he expected to get as close as he did, and he was a little shocked when one started chewing on the brim of his hat, but after I took his hat off it was a little less scary for him.

Mo didn't get to ride the Pony, he's still a little to little for that, but he loved watching his brothers and their friends go around and around.

Ezra's Farm Day

There is a local home school group here, and the last activity we attended was "Krystal's Ranch Day", which was a field trip out to a farm that is run by, well, Krystal.... and her family. The boys had so much fun on this trip, and Mommy got so sunburned! Here is Ezra's Story:

The second we pulled up Ezra was trying to fly out the door just to pet the dogs. He loved them so much, and I'm sure if he could he would take them all home. He followed Liam around a lot, but didn't go into any pens (other than the goat pen, which everyone went in), he did climb up onto the gates for better looks though.

He was very shy around the goats, but eventually got over it, and climbed up onto their house, he sat down on it and got a big black spot on his bum, which he sported for the rest of the day. When Liam pointed it out to him he wasn't very happy.

Right as we were getting started someone pointed out a gigantic spider. Anyone who knows Ezra, also knows that he LOVES spiders for some reason. That may have been his favorite point of the day! At one point in the day Ezra dropped his water bottle down inside a little table, and I had to reach inside blindly and pull it out for him, I just kept imagining that spider! (shiver)

Ezra loved helping to get the pony ready to ride. He loved brushing it's hair, and laughed when the breeze caught some loose hairs and carried them away. Ezra loved riding the horse, and he is still talking about it, weeks later.

Liam's Farm Day

There is a local home school group here, and the last activity we attended was "Krystal's Ranch Day", which was a field trip out to a farm that is run by, well, Krystal.... and her family. The boys had so much fun on this trip, and Mommy got so sunburned! Here is Liam's Story:

We were greeted by all the homeschoolers, and a lot of cute dogs when we drove up. Apparently we were the last ones there, so we got started right away. The first thing we did was get introduced to all of the horses, and Krystal gave us all a workbook with pictures of the animals on her farm, and their body parts, and other cool information. Liam was way to excited to sit still, he just kept running from cage to cage and peeking inside. He thought the Rooster was awesome, and he even got to hold a Chicken that was practically bigger than him. He loved the goats and was quite eager to be among all of the animals.

He was fascinated by the donkeys, and even climbed into the pen, even though I told him not too, and I don't know if he was aloud (sorry Krystal).

Then the kids got to brush the pony they were going to ride, and put the saddle on. Liam loved his turn on the pony so much, and actually got to ride twice.

On Liam's second ride around some of the girls chased him around and "gave him five" whenever they could reach him, he loved that.

GO! GO!

Mo-Mo is a born racer. He watched his brothers line up against Grandma's door a couple of weeks ago, and then yell "Ready, set.... GO!" and run down the hall to their bedroom and back, only to stand up against the door again.
Later that day we were at Walmart, checking out the toys section and I saw Mosiah walking backwards towards the book shelf, and then sit down on it. It was so cute that I tried to get him to do it again on video, but then he was just so fascinated by all the books. When we were done in the toy section we headed over to the automotive department where our car was getting an oil change, and we sat down in the over crowded waiting room. Mosiah was bored out of his 1 year old brain so he ran out of the room, and I followed. As I came out I saw him heading towards the door to the garage, I was about to grab him when he turned around and started walking backwards so he could stand against it, then he looked at me with a very serious face and yelled "GO GO!" and he ran as fast as he could. It was so cute, again I tried to capture the cuteness on camera. His brothers joined him and they had a blast, waiting for our car to be finished at Walmart. Yet again, I can't get the video to load, but I did get the wrong video to load, if any of you looked at this within a short 30 min period you saw a very fast video of a sunset.... sorry.

In case you didn't catch the hints in my previous post...

I was going to keep this a secret, but I was so excited when I found out I just had to share. We are having another baby! We are due January 7Th, 2009 (2 days after Mo-Mo's birthday). Bill says we are not putting one of those fetus monitors on our blog because they are (his words) "disgusting", so I decided to just put this 3d, tasteful, computer generated picture on, for the sake of hubby. I just found out 2 days ago, and I had just barely gotten to the stage that you can find out, so this is all really new. Liam is so excited, he wants a girl so bad, but we will be happy with either a boy or a girl. I can't wait!!!! I was hoping to have one of those fly by pregnancies where you find out you're pregnant when you're already 6 months prego or something. LOL, not meant to be!

The Biggest Post Ever...

I've had a crazy couple of weeks and I haven't been able to sit down and blog my life. I have some spare time today, so you're going to get a whole whack of posts all in one. Happy Reading!
This picture was taken in our backyard one day. I was on my way home from delivering some friendship bread and the sun was up a lot further, when I got home I ran inside, grabbed my hubby and my camera and made it just in time for this shot. Gorgeous!

THE HELICOPTER

The boys and I were on the way home from the park one day and we heard a helicopter. There's a helicopter pad over by one of the medical centers here, so we drove up and actually got to see this thing take off. The boys thought it was the coolest thing in the whole world! We got video footage of it but blogger hates me and my video's never work. Oh well, we've all seen helicopters fly right? I'm sure you can imagine it.

SPRING

Don't you just love spring. I do. The flowers are blooming, the baby animals are all born (although I will admit I haven't exactly seen any yet), the birds chirp and sing all day (and all night here). The boys are having so much fun exploring for bugs (eww), and Grandma is having a blast with her beautiful garden and her gorgeous flowers. These are a couple shots of our house and flowers.

FREEZER JAM

One of my really good friends, Cambria, is a super great baker, and cook, and home-maker. She recently taught me how to make crepes, and she puts freezer jam on hers, so she taught me how to make that too! It was my first experience with this kind of thing since being out of my
parents house so I was pretty nervous, but it was soooo much fun, and super easy. Thanks Cambria!!!

GOT MILK???

BOYS FIRST BAND CONCERT

I decided to take the boys to a high school band and choir concert here in town, thinking that Liam would love it. The first song we heard was "Had a Bad Day" which Liam knows from the Chipmunk Movie. Liam got a total kick out of it and all three boys were angels through the whole song. Then they started singing "Danny Boy" right when they started Ezra and Mo started to show their other side. We barely made it through that song, and when it ended we booked it for the door. We spent some time outside getting our "sillies" out, and then I just decided we should go home. It was a nice try though....

OCTOPUS

I bought this cutest Halloween costume for a girl baby for a friend of mines baby shower, but I got it at a garage sale, and I figured maybe people like to pick their own costumes, so I decided to keep it. I let Mo-Mo try it on and he just knew he was the cutest thing, so he danced around, twirling all his legs and laughing the whole time.

Then the boys wanted to wear costumes too, so we just had a dress up day. Liam is a pirate, and Ezra is Handy Manny, he loves the gloves. They look like little work gloves until you turn them over and they have a little crown on the back that says "princess". That's two of my boys dressed up a little girly. As for the octopus outfit, I guess we just have to hope for a girl who will be about 9 months old in October... *cough*

BABY SHOWER DAY

My friend Cambria had her baby shower on the same day that my friend Jasmine was throwing one for a lady I know named Holly, so I decided to go to both and get all hopped up on cake. Cambria is having a girl, so hers was all girly and pink. The cake here is a diaper cake, not an edible one. Holly is having a boy, so hers was blue. Both were lots of fun, but as suspected I ate way to much cake!

A DATE

Bill and I got to go on date thanks to Grandma for offering to watch our boys. We went to the
temple for a session, and then we had Carl's Jr. for dinner. YUUUUUMMMMY! After Carl's we went to IRON MAN!! It was soooooooo awesome, if you haven't seen it, go see it. We posed with Wally again, but he's still just as cute, don't you think?

THE PARIS

Jacob Skinner, my brother in law, was in Vegas for a week and he got to stay at the Paris. He was kind enough to let us come and swim in the pool there. My parents met us before they headed back home to Canada from their Aruba trip and we had a blast. Jake is a blogger too, you can check out his cool page here.

BLOOD
Bill and I went to donate blood on Saturday. They wouldn't let me donate because their was a "slight chance" I was pregnant. Bill however, donated his like a champ. The boys think he's greater than Superman. (I think he's sexier.)

PARTY AT THE SKINNERS

Jake and Vanessa through a huge BBQ party in their back yard on Saturday night. It was a blast. Other than our two families and Grandma, the Abbiss' came, the Gent's came, and Will Gent's sisters family came (sorry, I don't remember their last name). We had a blast roasting hot dogs, BBQing corn, and just hanging out.

SUNBURN
For more details on the boys sunburns you can check out Vanessa's awesomest post ever, and no, it's not just cause my boys are in it, it's just an awesome post. Anyways, this is their week after shot. The burns don't hurt anymore (although they couldn't even breathe without crying for 3 days) but they look horrible, like some sort of flesh eating disease or something.

GRAMMY AND PAPA
My Grandma and Grandpa were in Vegas yesturday, so the boys and I drove in to see them. They bought us an amaizing Chinese Buffet dinner at the El Cortez, which is by Freemont Street, and then we went down with Grammy to check out the lights. Papa wasn't feeling so hot, so he stayed up in the room while we dragged Grandma around. Liam especially, was fond of Grammy. He wouldn't let go of her hand, and he loved to sit with her and chat about life. I wish we were closer so we could see them more often. I loved every second with them, and wished we had more.
Liam took this picture of my Grammy and Me.
