William Joseph Reginald Peavoy

1. What is your husband's name? William Joseph Reginald Peavoy

2.How long have you been married? 5 years, 4 months and 13 days
3.How long did you date? 1 week before getting engaged. 2 months before getting married.
4.How old is he? 32, 6(ish) years older than me.
5.Who eats more? He does, but I give him a run for him money.

6.Who said I love you first? He did.
7. who is taller? Bill is 6 feet. I'm 5 foot 6(ish).

8.Who sings better? In what style? Bill is definatly the better singer, in any style. He was a vocal coach for a while.

9.Who is smarter? In what subject? Bill has the brains in the family, in every subject except for blogging, and musical instrument repair.

10. Whose temper is worse? We both have pretty mild tempers, yes, even though he is a red head, but we can both have our little tantrums. We get over them pretty quick though.

11.Who does the laundry? That would be me.

12. Who does the dishes? I'm usually the only one home to do dishes, but if Bill is home we do them together.

13.Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Right now I do. It changes everytime we move the bed, or I get pregnant though. I usually have to be on the outside of the bed to tend to the kiddies if they wake up. I'd make Bill do it, but he has to get up and work in the morning, and I don't.

14. Who pays the bills? Bill pays the Bills. Tee-hee.

15. Who mows the lawn? The hired help.

16.Who cooks dinner? Taco Bell.

17. Who drives when you are together? If we are going on a short trip Bill does, if we go on a long trip I do. Not because he can't, but because I love to drive.

18. Who is more stubborn? It depends on the subject. I can't even elaborate, because I can't think of any senarios.

19. Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? Who ever is wrong, and then who ever is wrong will apoligise to (if we are fighting.)

20.Who parents do you see the most? We live with Marion, so we see her every day, but we see my folks more often than Bill's Dad, although we would love to get out to Ontario more.

21. Who proposed? Billy

22.Who is more sensitive? Definatly me. I think I cry in every movie, and if I'm pmsing you better not even glance at me wrong or I'll bawl.

23.Who has more friends? We have a few couple friends, but I'm better at keeping in touch with my old friends, so I suppose me, but that's a stupid question.

24. Who has more siblings? Bill does. We both have confusing situations in that area, but I think he kicks my butt by a couple of siblings.

25. Who wears the pants in the family? I wear jeans, Bill wears khaki's.

26. Where did you meet your husband? Singles Ward.

27. What was the first thing you said to your husband? We probably had a couple "hi, how are you's" here and there, but our first conversation was right after out mutual friend Mike got baptised. Him: Thanks for singing! Me: Oh, no big deal. That was going to be the end of the conversation but then I remembered that he was supposedly Canadian too. Me: Hey, I hear you're from Canada. Him: Yeah, I am. Me: Cool, where are you from? Him: Alberta, Calgary area. Me: Cool, me too. Him: *cough* Me: Okay, see you later.

28.Where was your first date? Our first date was not an official date, it was supposed to be a group outting to the Grand Canyon, but we are the only two who could go. That's where we fell in love, and we both knew we would spend the rest of eternity together from that day on. What is this... a Disney movie?

29.Where was your first kiss? His house, the morning after the Grand Canyon.

30. Where did you get engaged? In the parking lot of Macoroni Grill, where we went on our first offical date.

31. Where did you get married? Mesa, AZ.

32. Where was the honeymoon? Cardston, Alberta. That's where we had our reception.

33. If you could have changed anything about it what would you have changed? I would have gone to somewhere much warmer!

Hibernation Week

This week in school we are studying Hibernation, and some of the animals that hibernate. Today we learned specifically about the bear and we made "circle bears". It was super fun, and the bears turned out really cute. Mosiah felt really left out, so we brought him in a chair and he sat with the boys, and even colored his own picture, without eating the crayon.... impressive....

I am really controlling when it comes to scissors and my boys, so I decided to let them try cutting a non-important piece of paper today. I didn't, however, let them cut out their own circle bears... I guess I'll have to work up to that point. I have them so brainwashed though, that when I asked Liam if he wanted to try cutting he immediately screamed "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" After he saw Ezra try it though, he was willing to give it a go.

Un-Wanted (?) Visitor

We have two cats here, Myrrh and Cinnamon, they've been around since before we moved in. I met Myrrh, as a kitten, a week after I met Bill. Lately though, these two girly girls have decided to add another member to their crew. Most of the family does not approve of this "unwanted" member, but I secretly like her. Like any little girl I feel that I can be the one to "tame" her, but don't tell.

The name theme of the cats around here is of spices, and oils, and exotic essences, so I need a name that suits this grey kitty. Most of the household thinks this cat is a boy, but I have a feeling that she's a girl... I could be wrong, one day I'll get close enough to find out..... or maybe not, but we've got to call her something other than "Scavenger". I've been calling her that because she waits until the girls are done and then swoops in and licks their plates clean, and eats any crumbs off of the ground.

Sooooo, I'm open to any ideas. Got any? Jasmine, and Frankincense have already been used.
The calico is Cinnamon, The black cat is Myrrh, and the grey cat is nameless, help her out guys!

What?????

I just got this voicemail from Marion, that sounded pretty urgent, stating that she left her cell phone in the car and could I please get a hold of Bill, and have him call her manager as soon as possible. Sooooo, I called Bill. Normally when I call Bill it is very quiet in the background, and sometimes he is in the Library and cannot talk so we have a system where he pushes buttons to answer questions. Well today we used that system, but not because he didn't want to disturb the peace, but because it was incredibly loud where he was. It sounded like a band playing behind him. I quickly relayed the message, told him to beep when he was ready for the phone number of Marion's manager, told him the number, and said, "Just call her as soon as you can, it sounds urgent... Are you at a concert?" He beeped once for yes. I thought about googling all of the po-dunk concerts in Las Vegas tonight, but instead I just called Mom's manager to tell him to tell her that Bill would call as soon as possible. He answered this is how our conversation went (this manager has a very thick Indian (I think) accent):
Me- Hi, this is Marion's daughter in law. Can you tell her that Bill will call as soon as he can?
Manager - Oh? Bill already called?
Me- Oh! Okay, is Marion okay?
Manager - Why yes? She is just fine. She just had tickets and had to go.
*ding ding ding( bells going off )*
Me - Oh, okay! What are the tickets for?
Manager - Tony Braxton. Really top quality show.
Me - Thankyou! Have a good night.
So here I am, at home, with the boys wondering what I can do for entertainment, and Bill is being entertained by a very scantily clad Tony. *Jealous*
I'm just kidding. I'm happy that he got free tickets to an $80+ show. I'm sure I'll hear all about it when he gets home!

You will be missed.

Ezra Adams

Yesterday Ezra was so cute that I just have to tell you about it. He was asking for Candy all day, so finally Bill decided it was time to get rid of some candy that we had hidden up on the fridge for a long time, and pulled down two air heads, one for Ezra, and one for Liam. Bill opened one up and handed it to Ezra. Ezra licked it once, looked at it, and said to Bill, "These are the ones that blow up your head!"
Later that day we were heading out to the car and Ezra and Liam decided to race. Ezra never wins these races, but he doesn't have a problem with that. He must have had a head start today though, because he touched the car first and Liam went into hysterics (he's not a very good loser), saying that Ezra always wins, and on and on. So Ezra says, "Lets race again Liam, to the house." So I yell, "Ready, Set, Go!" And Liam takes off, and Ezra runs as slowly as he can behind Liam yelling "You can do it Liam! Go Liam!" and when Liam touched the house first Ezra said, "GOOD JOB LIAM! I knew you could do it! Now lets race to the car again." So off they went and Ezra let Liam win again, (although I don't know if Ezra actually could beat Liam) and all the while he shouted words of encouragement to Liam from a couple steps behind. I just thought it was so cute!

First Steps

We got invited over to the Abbiss' for dinner tonight and I brought my camera just in case we did something picture worthy. Cambria noticed it on the counter and gave me a wierd look, then she asked me why I brought it, and I told her sheepishly, "I take it every where."

After dinner, when I was cutting the strawberries for strawberry short cake I heard Bill talking to Mike about Mo and then he said "Walk Mo!" and then all the kids and Bill and Mike started screaming that Mo-Mo did it, so I ran over to where I could see him just as he fell down. Bill stood him up again and he was so excited that he just stood there and clapped for forever, and then.... he lifted one leg, took a step, and fell flat on his face, but that little fall was enough to send the whole group of us into histerics, taking pictures, convincing him to walk for the video feature on my camera, clapping, screaming. He LOVED the attention and was very excited and happy. Congratulations Mosiah! You did it!!!

For Reader: I tried to upload a video, but blogger isn't working for me today, so I will try to post it on another day, when they've fixed the problem. So, hopefully the pictures will do for now!

Happy Birthday Bill!!!

Bill's birthday was on Wednesday, January 16th. We started our day by getting up at 5:00am and heading to his Seminary Class at the church. He went in and I ran to Walmart and grabbed some cupcakes for him and his class. When I came in they all sang to him and then they passed off Scripture Mastery's to earn cupcakes. It was fun.

We came home and slept for a couple hours, and then got up and he opened his presents and we had Marie Calendar Pie for breakfast. (Bill always got pies instead of cakes for his birthday growing up.) Then we drove into the city for the day. We stopped by this restaurant for the boys and then met Vanessa here, where she picked them up and took them to her house for the day. Thank you so much Vanessa (I hear that Ezra acted like the spawn of Satan and drew on your wall.... I'm so sorry). We kept Mosiah with us because he was a little under the weather, and we didn't want her to have to deal with extra dirty diapers.... if you know what I mean. Bill and I went shopping and found some amazing sales. Then we went to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner. It was awesome, the food was amazing and 3 waiters came and sang to Bill and decorated his cheesecake all cute. We were going to hit a movie theater after, but nothing looked like it was worth $20, so we drove home, picked up the sleeping boys, and came home. I had a blast, and I think Bill did too, which would be good, because you don't turn 32 everyday!!!

I'm in love with Google Reader

Maybe I'm the last to hear about this most amazing technological creation, but if you don't use it there is no reason to NOT START TODAY!!!! One of the blogs I normally read had a post like this one, so I thought I'd check it out, and now my blog reading is a breeze! If you answer yes to any 2 of the questions below go to Google Reader NOW and get started...

1. Do you spend more than 10 minutes a day just checking to see if blogs have been updated?

2. Do you read more than 10 blogs per day?

3. Do you put "check blogs" on your to-do list?

4. Do you value your time?

5. Do you almost want to hit the computer when you've visited a blog 50 times, and it STILL has not been updated?

So here's how it works. You go to Google Reader. You type in your email and password (the same you use on blogger). You "add subscriptions" (blogs you read) by copying and pasting the addresses in the box. Then whenever you want to check the gazillion blogs you visit a day you simply go to your Google Reader and see what is on your "updated" list. You can read the new post from Google Reader or click the title and go to the actual blog. No more wasting hours and hours checking dead blogs. No more cursing people for not updating. No more having to look at the same stupid header or picture that hasn't changed in months. One click, that's all. Honestly, I'm in love. You should be too.

Often times, I will just see that someone has posted, and instead of reading it in Google reader I will click on it, and read it on the actual blog site, because I like to see the cool backgrounds and stuff. Google reader doesn't show backgrounds, just content, but it still rocks.

Stickers

The other day Mo-Mo crawled into the room like this. (He also has cheezy macaroni cheeks, but that's not what we're trying to show here!) Ezra's favorite thing in the world (other than bouncey balls) is stickers, and I had just opened up a new pack for him. He sticks them on EVERYTHING, although until this day, he had never decorated his family.

Mosiah Washington Peavoy's First Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MO-MO!!!

Mosiah's first birthday was on January 5th. We were at Clint and April's wedding, so we had his party a few days later with the Skinners, and the Reeve's at the Skinners house. We also gave Vanessa her birthday presents, and Bill got a few as well. We played guitar hero, and Buzz. It was a tonne of fun.

Mosiah actually got two cakes. One that we ordered, and one that Walmart gives babies for free on their first birthday. Very cute. Ezra actually ended up dropping the little chocolate one, making it inedible, but it was cute anyways. The one we ordered was a Ratatouille cake. Totally cute. The cake in front of Remy and Emille (the rat brothers) is a little cupcake, which we saved for Mo-Mo. He loved it.
